Youth Soup Kitchen Fundraiser: Today after the Service in the Social Room. Guide the Search: All members and friends are asked to take a survey and join a small-group meeting to contribute their thoughts to the ministerial search process.

1) Guide the Search survey: Available online or paper form. Surveys due November 20, 2011.
2) Guide the Search meetings: Sign up in the foyer for one of the four sessions:

Wed 16th 5:30 - 6:30 PM
Wed 16th 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Sun 20th Noon - 1 PM
or meet informally with a member of the Ministerial Search Committee.

Outreach Committee:

1) Our Daily Rest is the recipient of this month's 4th Sunday donations on November 27th. This shelter for the homeless in Seneca addresses tangible needs of shelter, food clothing, transportation as well as intangible benefits such as safety, structure, accountability toward goals, self-confidence and respect.
2) Green Sanctuary meets on Monday, November 14, 5:30pm, Founders House. Our recently received energy audit will be discussed.
3) Fort Hill Presbyterian Church is exploring a "Walk for Water" in the spring to raise funds to improve access to healthy drinking water in third world countries. The Outreach Committee is seeking someone in the UUFC congregation who might be willing to serve as a liaison to this project, and attend an initial meeting on Thursday, November 17, 4:00 p.m. in the Library of the Fort Hill Presbyterian Church Education Building. Please contact Toni King if you could serve as liaison, or want to find out more about the project.

UUFC Garage Sale Update: We had a beautiful day for our garage sale and we have a little beautiful cash in our coffers. Overall, we are happy with our results and want to thank those of you that contributed items. According to our cashier of the day, the garage sale took in approximately $950.
