Administration, Planning and Audit
The Personnel Committee, in collaboration with the Minister, develops and maintains job descriptions, hires, and evaluate all paid employees of the UUFC. The Minister supervises all paid employees. The Personnel Committee, in consultation with the Treasurer, recommends compensation for all paid employees of the UUFC except the Minister. All hiring, compensation, and termination decisions made by the Personnel Committee are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees. The Committee is led by the Chair, whose duties include presiding over meetings of the Personnel Committee and presenting recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding all paid staff, excluding the Minister.
Buildings and Grounds Team
Responsibility for buildings and grounds lies with a team of UUFC people with skills and a sense of humor. It is organized around natural divisions of need to control the effort required by any one individual. And to match tasks with talent and expertise.
The Nominating Committee shall present a list of nominees for all open elected and appointed positions to the Board of Trustees at least ten (10) days in advance of the last regularly scheduled meeting of the Board in the last quarter of the year.
Nominating Committee Chair
The Shared Ministry Committee shall consist of five members of the UUFC, elected by the congregation to strengthen the quality of ministry in the UUFC. The Shared Ministry Committee shall make recommendations, in consultation with the Congregational Financial Officer, concerning compensation and other contractual matters pertaining to the Minister for appropriate action by the Board of Trustees.
