Social Action Committee

The Social Action Committee at UUFC has active groups working towards social and environmental justice and support of various charities in the area with donations and voluntarism.Programs that UUFC supports financially often receive substantial in-kind assistance  through hours of volunteer time provided by members.  This volunteer component allows UUFC members and friends to act collectively on their faith.



offers their participants incentives to make them successful in their journeys moving beyond government assistance to finding their full potential. Programs include financial help to reduce debt with financial coaching and budgeting; relational assistance to strengthen relationships and through personal counseling; educational guidance to achieve higher education and professionalism in the workplace and health support to learn how to exercise and to eat healthy on a budget. Mentoring is partnered with incentives, which include monthly rewards, savings matches and paid internships.
